With J. Edgar out in theaters, I have (a little) new footage for my Reel Page!

Now the demo includes Clint Eastwood’s latest piece, a scene from Leverage directed by Jonathan Frakes, my role as Lars in The Start-Ups, Devin Maurer‘s Someplace Better Than Here, and  Thanks for Dying.

The LA Times came to I Love Lucy Live on Stage on Saturday, and it was another rave review!

According to theater critic Philip Brandes, ”One of the best sightseeing bets in town is attending a taping of ‘I Love Lucy Live on Stage.’”  I couldn’t agree more! Tickets are available through the end of February.

dont-trust-the-b-in-apartment-23-tom-christensenToday, I had a great time shooting a co-star role on the upcoming ABC comedy, “Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23!”  I play a Pear Vendor at an NYC farmers market, selling my wares to series leads Krysten Ritter and Dreama Walker.

The shoot was absolute bedlam!

LISTEN TO ME: Nothing…not a camera setup, not an A.D., not a herd of background-turned-security, NOTHING can prevent the elderly from getting what looks like a free sample.  I was dressed in an apron and had a cutting board with pears, and IN THE MIDDLE OF OUR SCENE, random people were walking into frame to get a piece of fruit.  We shot on location at the Culver City Farmers Market, and those people expect to get their sample one way or another…crazy!

There is an amazing review of “Lucy” on examiner.com.  Check out these quotations from Ron Irwin, Burbank Entertainment Industry Examiner:

“…an absolutely brilliant and utterly engaging tribute to that iconic television show”

“I frankly cannot remember any performance in any venue in recent time that caused me to laugh so long and so hard.”

“When it ended I was filled with warmth and joy.  From the audience reaction I would say that we all shared that feeling because this was the first time I have ever experienced a standing ovation in a small venue.  It was completely deserved and it was a proper acknowledgement to every single cast and crew member who made it happen, every single one of whom was on the top of their game. “
